I see work, business, and decision coaching as putting ideas into action. Coaching involves the development and implementation of strategies for you to reach your goals. This may address specifics such as building your business, strategically building your network, finding your confidence, re-passioning your life, increasing job performance and satisfaction, or addressing general conditions in your life, business, or profession that you want to move from ideas into action. Coaching utilizes personal strategic planning, values clarification, brainstorming, challenging assumptions, working with the power of emotions, and other activities as they are relevant to your goals. I bring the best of my intellect, discernment, compassion, and business sense to our work, focusing on your strengths so that you can achieve your top performance and have the greatest possible impact through your work.
I have a doctorate in psychology and experience building and running several successful business. I grew up in a family ranching business, and I continue to enjoy the world of work and work culture. I am trained and certified in a variety of tools and assessments, and find that real growth happens in coaching when we carefully select the tools--and the timing--that will work best to provide supportive information as we address your goals. Many clients have access to assessments they have already taken, and these can provide a starting point for our coaching work.
I have strong values and solid training in ethics, and I abide by the ethical principles of the American Psychological Association. I have worked in behavioral health for many years, and I see coaching and psychotherapy as quite distinct in focus. I no longer provide therapy. My experience as a successful Realtor has sharpened my business acumen and influenced how I understand business building, negotiation, and customer service. It has also provided me with a unique perspective on investment analysis.
Types of Clients: I work with clients who are C-Suite Executives, entrepreneurs or entrepreneur-want-to-be's, beginning and middle managers, people who are ready for taking the next step in their career, and people who are wondering which direction their career should turn next.

I work locally in Boulder and am happy to work with you to travel to your worksite wherever you are. I frequently coach by Skype or telephone as well. I provide coaching individually, in groups, in teams, and throughout organizations.
